finely ground oats

Hi Ladies! Do you love oatmeal as much as I do? Today’s post about making your own Oatmeal Face Wash!

Have you ever looked at yourself early in the morning in the mirror only to see that your face is not as fresh and radiant as it used to be even after a good 8 hour long rest?

I know I have, especially since I don’t remember when I had my last good 8 hour sleep, lol.

So today I’m going to share with you a great recipe for an all natural face wash that will rewind the years and remove the stress off your face.

The main ingredient of this face wash is Oats

ground oats

Oats have a lift of benefits not only for your health, but also for your skin and hair. Since this is a face wash recipe, we are going to focus on their skin perks.

Oats are known for their cleansing effect thanks to saponins, compounds found in oats and various plants. They turn our yummy oatmeal into a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a miracle youth elixir.

It helps those with acne as well as removes build up in the pores and dead skin.

Split Peas

Peas is another great product that surprisingly isn’t just beneficial for our health, but also shows great results when applied to our skin.

Peas known to have plenty of protein that helps regenerate our skin, and vitamins C, E, and B participate in regeneration of collagen, that is responsible for elasticity and firmness of our skin. All that combined gives us that youthful look.

There are so many benefits of turmeric for your skin, that I sometimes wonder why we don’t use it more often?

Among all this goodness, one of the benefits of turmeric is it’s age fighting agents. Curcumin, one of the components of turmeric, is known for it’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

We don’t want to use too much of it as it can stain our skin, but just a pinch is fine and it’s still going to share it’s youth returning and skin brightening benefits with us.

Coconut Oil

I can talk about coconut oil benefits non-stop. It’s been used for centuries both internally and externally. It proved to help reduce abdominal obesity in women, boost immune system and fight cancer, and is amazing for skin! It’s a wonderful moisturizer, makeup remover and exfoliator!
